Inspiration...
For several weeks I felt totally uninspired. I'm sure we all go through our ups and downs... at least I hope I'm not the only one. But after spending some days in SLC with some awesome peeps, and refocusing my energies, I've realized that I need to spend more time with the things that inspire me. I've always been a music girl- music moves me quicker than anything. As far as inspiration goes, music is a major cha-ching. But what else? Looking at other photographers work, sure. Graphic design blogs, yup. Decorating sites and fashion blogs... check. Books. Magazines. Websites. Media.
Sometimes it's nice to find inspiration in something totally unrelated to art and photography. Like in my toddler...
*disclaimer* STELLA inspires me, this photo... not so much.
But I just had to share her sense of style and well, this is the best I got. :)

I'm glad you posted a blog like this. I find myself in the same boat on occasion. Along with music, and my toddler I enjoy just going for drives, finding new locations usually brings fresh ideas to my mind :)
Ooh location scouting IS inspirational. Having more time to location scout would be great :)
I completely understand! I usually just have to force myself to grab my camera and just start shooting. i try to find inspiration in the beauty around me that I take for granted.
Your Stella inspires me too. How could she not with fashion sense beyond her years.
