Matt & Tegan | WEDDING!!

Matt & Tegan are a unique couple with a unique wedding- they went the eco-friendly route as much as possible, they reused, second-hand shopped and recycled what they could, they personally hand made or had friends hand make everything from jewelry to the chandelier that hung during their reception, you couldn't even get into their ceremony by car! That's right- wedding guests parked on the side of the mountain and took a shady stroll through the woods on up to the modest cabin by which the couple was wed. The reception was at a friends barn down in the valley, it was the perfect setting for a summer evening party!

I loved all of their earthy elements, the mix matched yet coordinated bridesmaids... this couple really put themselves into their wedding details as much as possible... see for yourselves (in the longest ever blog entry known to man...)! :)

Matt & Tegan hired an artist to come to the wedding, and during the reception she painted an intepretive canvas depicting the essence of the day- I will add a link to her site as soon as I can! She was wonderful, and what a cool idea!!

The bridesmaids & Tegan all had handmade matching jewelry that one of the bridesmaids sisters made! Love it!!
